New York City experienced quite the lightning storm over the past few days. With massive thunderstorms and flooding in the Northeast and Tropical Storm Debbie wreaking havoc in the South, it's been quite the week in weather.

Tons of people were posting pictures of lightning striking the New York City skyline - most of the pictures I found were hosted on Instagram and posted to Twitter.
